tabb 2014 ICB/TABB Conference

The next ICB/TABB Conference will be held May 18-23, 2014 in Cleveland, OH at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade. Lodging for attendees of the conference has been arranged at the low rate of 119.00 per night. The International Certification Board will provide certification testing for supervisors, contractors and technicians who qualify.

NEMI classes for supervisors and contractors will be offered in HVAC Fire Life Safety Level 1 and Level 2, Sound & Vibration and TAB.

ITI classes for technicians will be offered in Total Building Energy Audit and Fume Hood Performance Testing.

The Sheet Metal Industry International Certification Board (the "ICB") is a committee of the National Energy Management Institute Committee for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Industry ("NEMIC"). NEMIC is a trust, under agreement between The Sheet Metal Workers' International Association ("SMWIA") and The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association ("SMACNA"). The ICB is, at all times, responsible to and supervised by the Trustees of NEMIC. The ICB is an activity of NEMIC. The mission of the ICB is to direct and implement a comprehensive set of certification programs to assure customers of the sheet metal industry of the quality advantages of utilizing persons or entities certified by the ICB. The certification programs over which the ICB has jurisdiction are established by NEMIC's Trustees.
